Spicy Basil is a casual, popular Thai restaurant that serves large portions packed with flavor. The food is tasty and satisfying, especially for the price. Just remember—*they only accept cash*, so be sure to bring some with you. The place is often busy, which adds to the lively, fast-paced vibe. Great for a quick, no-fuss meal.

I have been eating at Spicy Basil eat in and delivery for many years. The quality of food and service has steadily declined over the years. Last night I decided to make an order for delivery (£3 charger) last minute. I placed the order by telephone for spring rolls, chicken and egg noodles, king prawn green curry and a portion of white rice. The total was £38 which I thought steep but hey. On arrival there was no king prawn green curry and a king prawn pad Thai was sent instead. I called to complain and the guy on the phone was very rude but reluctantly agreed to send the correct item and take the pad Thai back. When the driver arrived I was shocked at what was sent. The curry was sent in a small container with rice which was not what I ordered. The curry was leaking in the bag and rice and not worth the amount I had paid. I was told I needed to specify no rice. The man on the phone was very rude and eventually hung up on me. Safe to say, my instincts are correct and the service and quality is not what it used to be. Very disappointing and will not step foot or order from Spicy Basil again. 👋👋

Food was great. Service is quick. Space is small. But because the service is so quick, with food arriving within 5 minutes of ordering. The wait is not too long

I have been going to this place for the last several months. I must say, you get served very quickly and the food is served within minutes. The photo is of a chicken and noodle dish all of this for £11. Exceptional value for money and very, very tasty food I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It’s a very simple restaurant, basic tables and chairs nothing special, but the food speaks through itself. Also, it is a halal restaurant so that will help a lot of other people.

Thai Basil, Kilburn is our go-to spot whenever we’re in the area for authentic, spicy Thai food.

Service is always fast and warm, led by Ms. Wan, whose smile and knowledge of Thai cuisine make every visit special.
She’s happy to guide diners with recommendations, and her suggestions never disappoint.

Our favourites include the Thai dim sum and prawns in garlic & chilli.

Watching the busy woks through the glass kitchen adds to the experience, with fragrant aromas whetting the appetite.

Kudos to the management and staff — we’ll definitely be back! 👏👌👍😍©
