This place was recommended to me so I made a long journey to try it out. It was over crowded yet they still found us a table in the basement. I wish they hadn't as it was an uncomfortable squeeze. The food was average but it was cheap. I think the cheap price is the appeal, you can try every dish you like and out won't break the bank. Unfortunately I prefer quality over quantity.

Incredible Thai. We ordered green curry, yellow curry and spicy noodles. The noodles weren't great but the curries were amazing and can't wait to go back! The green curry tasted just like it did in Thailand however the yellow curry is sweet- different to Thailand as we found yellow curry to be the spiciest in Thailand however delicious nonetheless. We also got fish cakes for starters which weren't that great either but definitely recommend this place! Cheap too 🙂

Don't be fooled by the way the restaurant looks from the outside. It's the best Thai food I've ever had.
The food at Spicy Basil is absolutely delicious and generous portions, all at a very reasonable price. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This is my favorite Thai in London. Very cheap food. Excellent and fresh. The rotation is so great that many times you have to share tables. Still you won't find something so good. Relationship cost benefit and I throw each dish one by one at the time and for you. I love them 😍😍😍

Well reasonably priced, no dish was more than 7 quid... but lots and lots of choice. Incredibly tasty and the staff are very attentive. I can't wait to come back here. The beef noodles were really good.
